"I would like to offer my deepest thanks to the United States Achievement Academy. The Dr. George A. Stevens Founder’s Award will provide me with tremendous financial support as I pursue a world-class education at Stanford University.

• Each student recognized by the USAASF is nominated by a qualified teacher, counselor, coach, assistant principal or principal.
• Students are honored annually in different areas of achievement on the junior high, middle, and high school levels.
• Over 1,332,000 educators have nominated students for the USAA programs.
• Nominations were received from 26,029 junior high, middle, and high schools in the 2011-2012 school year.
• More than 27.5 million students have participated in the USAA program.
• The Academy has granted more than $1,480,000 in scholarships to USAA nominated students.
• Educators in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands have nominated students for the Academy programs.
