United States Achievement AcademyThe educator selects the award winners. The educator uses the Standards for Selection to choose the award winners in his/her school.

As a guideline, the Academy has provided the official nomination form indicating the number of students eligible for the award. The students’ names, addresses and zip codes should be entered on the Nomination Form and returned to the United States Achievement Academy. If school policy prohibits giving out student address information, educators can provide the students name only.

There is no financial obligation to the school, students nominated or the educator. The nominees will all be recognized in the official USAA Yearbook. Funding for the United States Achievement Academy comes from the proceeds from the sale of the official USAA Yearbook and awards merchandise.

Teachers and professors are advised to nominate students based upon the following USAA Official Standards for Selection :
  • Academic Performance
  • Dependability
  • Leadership
  • Enthusiasm
  • Dedication to Self- Improvement
  • Attitude and Cooperative Spirit
  • Responsibility
