Ms. Robin Mills HelmMs. Robin Mills Helm
New Covenant Christian School
Pageland, SC

Ms. Robin Helm graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BA from Piedmont Baptist College in Winston-Salem, NC, where she was a member of Delta Epsilon Chi, the chorale, the chapel choir, and a mixed quartet. For the last twenty-three years, she has taught in Christian schools in Florida and South Carolina. She is presently teaching English, Spanish, Bible, and Chorus at New Covenant Christian School in Pageland, SC. Ms. Helm also coaches several choric speaking groups, edits the yearbook, sponsors the Beta Clubs and the American Christian Honor Society, coordinates the High School Fine Arts Festival, and coaches JV and Varsity volleyball.  She has received recognition in Who's Who Among America's Teachers four times. Outside of school, Ms. Helm enjoys spending time with her family; reading; playing the piano, keyboard, and flute at church; singing in the adult choir; and directing the handbell choir.  She writes a weekly column for the Pageland Progressive-Journal, is an assistant manager of Newschat online, and has had her poetry published in Creative Communication’s Celebrate Poets: Speak Out.

Dr. Luckey taught college students for over 40 years as a professor of philosophy at Morehead State University. Professor Luckey has made nearly 50 professional presentations and has been a featured speaker at the International and National Conferences on the Freshman Year Experience, International Conference on Critical Thinking and Educational Reform, National Conference on Student Retention, National Collegiate Honors Council Conference, and numerous regional and state meetings. He has led nearly 40 teaching for success workshops for public school teachers and college faculty in over 20 states. Professor Luckey is a recipient of the Distinguished Teacher of the Year award at Morehead State University where he was director of the Academic Honors Program and the Center for Critical Thinking. Dr. Luckey is author of Critical Thinking and Active Learning in the College Portfolio for Success and serves as Educational consultant to the International Organization for Student Success.

Ms Laura M. Ellis

Ms. Ellis graduated with a MS in Teaching for Business Education from Portland State University. She has taught for nineteen years at Jordan Valley High School. Ms. Ellis is currently teaching Keyboarding, Computer Applications, Accounting, Marketing, Personal Finance, Career Education, Business Math, and College Planning. Ms. Ellis serves as a College/ Career Counselor and a state math scoring director and has received Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers honors for the last three editions.

Mr. DePuglio has thirty plus years teaching experience. He is currently teaching A level Physics and AP Physics at Hamilton High School East. In addition to his teaching assignment, Mr. DePuglio serves in the State of New Jersey Mentor of Science Teachers and, he is a member of Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society. Mr. DePuglio's honors include Governor's Teacher Grant in 1988 and Mercer County Engineers Society Physics Teacher of the Year 2000. In addition, he is the first physics teacher in New Jersey to ever receive the Delaware Valley Engineers Society Physics Teacher of the Year 2001 award. Mr. DePuglio has received Who's Who Among America's Teachers honors for the three editions. Who's Who Among America's Physics Teachers for Six editions. Holds two Masters Degrees in the areas of Physics and Counceling. Honored by NJN-TV show across New Jersey. (2005) Nominated for Leading Educators of the World 2005 Inclusion in the thirty-third edition of the Dictionary of International Biography for 2006. Included in the Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century out of Cambridge England. (2005) Member of NEA, NJEA, HTEA, American Association of Physics Teachers. NPM. SMN, ASCAP.AFM. Professor Miyamoto received his BFA and MFA from the University of Hawaii, Honolulu. Professor Miyamoto presently serves as the Department Chair at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. His selected list of professional organizations includes College Art Association, Northwest Print Council, The Print Consortium, Society of American Graphic Artists, The Boston Printmakers, and Southern Graphics Council. Professor Miyamoto has been honored as Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in American Art, Who’s Who in American Education, Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who Among Asian Americans, participation on the nomination panel of the Tryon Art Center in Charlotte, NC.

Professor Miyamoto’s teaching experience is extensive, and he has received numerous grants and fellowships. He has served on many committees, panels and councils, such as the Acquisition Committee for the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts. He is presently the Regional Coordinator of Northwest Print Council, Portland Oregon, and a panelist of the National Nomination Panel of Tryon Center for Visual Art, Charlotte, North Carolina. Professor Miyamoto is also a member of the Advisory Council of International Biographical Centre in Cambridge, England. Professor Miyamoto has published extensively, and has been an invited speaker at various lectures and workshops.

In addition to Professor Miyamoto’s professional activities, his art works are included in many public collections. Professor Miyamoto has received numerous awards and prizes. His most recent include Praga Juror’s Award, 2003 The Boston Printmakers North American Print Biennial, Fine Arts Associates Award, 74th Annual Exhibition, Honolulu Printmakers, Utrecht Linens Award, 2001 North American Print Exhibition, and Purchase Award, Millennial Biennial National Works on Paper Exhibition.
